Case of the Nutty Blond

I think that I took this task of blogging entirely too seriously. I need to take it serious—I do have stuff to say and a duty to say them and truthfully—but I also can relax because it is not like a job where I need to write a relevant article every four days that will challenge the powers and force us to really consider our positions in life, and then win a Pulitzer on the side because of my masterful use of the English language. Sadly, I do not have much of anything to report to you, my faithful reader (though I’ll be happy if it turns out there are in fact, readers!). I am sorry. I think that as well as feeling compelled to make you think, I feel obligated to entertain you. This I cannot do. If you are so desperate for something to do that you have stumbled upon my tiny blurp on the internet, then… go to www.homestarrunner.com because I cannot help you.

And yes, this post is a stall tactic that I am using to figure out what I have to say next. I just wanted to let you all know that I will continue to post, but that I will not expect so much out of myself anymore. In the meantime, get off your computer and enjoy these precious few days of summer vacation that we have left! July is gone, and it has gone so fast!! I do not even have the whole month of August to enjoy my freedom before school starts again! argh!!
