What think ye of Poetry?
It takes a busy life to appreciate the down times. I only thought I was busy last semester; this semester I am only doing my college level readin', writin' an 'rithmetic (ie. English Compostition II, American Liturature II, Calculus III, and Elementary Differential Equations (which is not entirely elementary, my dear Watson)). But I have also concluded that this is a busy period of my life. I enjoy doing my homework--seriously--and appreciate the time I get with my family and friends. Chess games, phone conversations, talks at the dinner table, phone conversations, and yes, even blogging. As I settle into the swing of things, I am able to fit more into my schedule (nature hates voids, after all). Like sleeping. Or playing my guitar. And blogging. Of course, God is always good, and has been guiding me through this with an ever-steady hand as I learn to listen to Him.
As for my title? We just finished with the poetry of Walt Whitman and Emily Dickinson in Am. Lit. class. But now that we've moved on, I can assert that the only thing I hate more than Walt Whitman is Henry James. Reading him is torture to me.
But anyway, faithful readers, I am back. Thank you for all your concern in my absence. I know your lives just weren't complete without my posting regularly. I do encourage you to take time to try something (or many things) new, and see how much you can handle. I will either go insane with the strain or become a better person. We'll just have to see. I'll keep you posted ^_^
Have a Happy President's Day Weekend!!
(How lucky were Washington and Lincoln? Very. They were both born on holidays!! *rimshot*)

Now you have me morbidly curious about this poet worse than Walt Whitman. I didn't think anyone could beat THAT man! Then again, isn't this why I took EARLY American literature: so I could avoid the real psychos? I should quell my curiosity, I reckon. :D
I have missed thee! Hope to speak with you soon!
